I like this photo because Yankee's is my favorite baseball team and I was exited for Jeter for getting his 3,000th hit!

BEST OF 2011

1. The best song was "Sexy And I Know It" by LMFAO. It was one of the best songs because it had funny lyrics. It was (and still is) one of the best songs you can work out to. Also because it has fun beat to dance to.

2. The best movie was "Twilight: Breaking Dawn". The movie got, an estimated, 139.5 million dollars on the first weekend it came out. Also it was the main talk in the hallways, everyone was asking, "Have you seen it yet?"

3. The most important new story was when it was announced that Osama Bin Laden was shot and killed. It was one of the most important news stories because it gave relief to many Americans. Some people thought that his group would get revenge on the U.S for killing their leader.

4. The most important person of 2011 was Michelle Obama. Michelle Obama has contacted many mayors around the U.S, to try to convince them to start a program for young people to get active for they will not become obese. Obesity is a big problem in the U.S and getting worst, so she is telling kids to get active and eat right by going on children shows and on commercials. The obesity rate has gone down some since she has started these programs.
5. The most important sports story of 2011 was when Derek Jeter got his 3000 hit. He is the 28th baseball player in history to reach 3000 hits. He was the first to reach the 3000th hit in Yankee Stadium.

My Holiday
1. One fun thing that happened on my holiday is that I got an iPhone for christmas!(:
