Architecture SHOOT preview assignment

This photo is the details photo. The reason this is a details photo is because it is up close to the building to see what kinds of designs are on the building.
This photo shows the light and where the light hits the building. The reason this is a light photo is because the viewer can see where the light is coming from and at what angle the light is hitting the building.
This is the photo that shows the pattern on the building. The reason the is a pattern photo is because it has the same balcony's in rows and all the balcony's are built the same way.
This photo is to show the angles and shape of the building. The photo is very symmetrical and has a lot of shapes and that is why it is an angles and shapes photo.
This photo is a surroundings photo. The reason it is a surroundings photo is because it shows where the building could be located.

Caption And Evaluation Practice

Who: Angry civilian
What: Threatening to set a government building on fire
Where: Iran
When: Thursday
Why: Raising taxes for a war
How: Waving a lit torch and getting ready to throw it at a riot

HEADLINE: A simple protest to a raging riot
ACTUAL CAPTION: an angry civilian is threatening to throw a lit torch at a government building with people inside. On April 4th the government decided to raise tax for a new war with Israel that made many civilians angry enough to start a riot.

PHOTO 1: The first photo is using viewpoint. I know this since this photo captures the objects going to the sky while still paying attention to the people letting them go to the sky instead of the objects in the sky or the people getting them ready to be let go.
PHOTO 3: The photo has leading lines and creates depth. I know the photo is creating depth since the photo captures the other hills in the back getting smaller which makes the hills look like they are so far away from the camera. I know this photo has leading lines also since the car tracks on the ground lead up to the hills in the way beyond.
PHOTO 4: The photo has rule of thirds, viewpoint, and creating depth. I know the photo has rule of thirds since the two pieces of the boats are on different corners and sides of the screen and not right in the middle. I know it has viewpoint because if the photographer didnt choose this view poing he would of gotten other boats floating in the background instead of the other piece of the possibly broken ship. I also know it creates depth since the other piece of the ship looks like its far off and floating away and the seas that never end.

Touching People

1. I think this project would be a awkward since most people aren't up for touching people they don't know
2. I would ask what was the project for and where am I supposed to touch this stranger in the photo shoot?
3. A unusual photo shoot would be two people jumping off of objects while high fiving each other
4. I think some of the photos were very unusual. The photographer was just taking portraits of people.

Earthquake Warm-Up

Magazine Covers Part 2 And InDesign Part 1

EARLY MAGAZINE COVERS
Most of the early magazine covers didnt have pictures like most magazines today. Then the first cover was a table of contents. When they did use covers they usually looked like covers of books, with more words than pictures. There were no little words on the sides of the magazine cover explaining some things that were in the magazine. Sometimes some magazines had a symbolic cover. The symbol usually meant something to explain what the magazine was a little bit about. Then they started having magazines for women. The cover usually had very well drawn pictures of different roles of women in the family.

THE POSTER COVER
This type of magazine cover was more used in  1890s to the 1960s. Many of the pictures look like paintings you would see hanging on someones wall because how good they looked. The poster magazines were bigger then the magazines today. The poster cover had, little or no, little explination of the magazine on the cover.

PICTURE MARRIED TO TYPE
In the early 1900's they started adding dialogue to there cover art. They were starting to use huge titles with a persons head covering some of it, a model posing with nearly whole body, or words surrounding the model instead of going over the models body.

Happy, Akins, Building

It is an excellent example of my work because I fixed the photo into looking less bright.
It shows happy since the mask has a creepy smile.
It is an example of my work because before I photo shopped it, it didn't look like the colors were popping on the photo.
Its a good example of Akins since the mascot of Akins is the Eagle.
It is an excellent example of my work because it shows rule of  thirds.
It shows building since its a building.

Choice Sheets

I am interested into bieng in yearbook. Yearbook always seemed like fun. You get to go to some of the events at school and take pictures of people and get to create memories for them. Yearbook is a way to capture events that some people may not have known about until they saw it on the yearbook.
